Kelowna could break record dry spell

If no rain falls by midnight on Friday, Kelowna will tie a record set back in 2003 for the longest dry spell since records started being kept.

The last time it rained in the city was June 26.

The province has been under a slow moving weather pattern, but a change could be on the way.

A cooler front is expected to move in over the weekend.
