Woman arrested, accused of trying to break into Prince George's school

A woman was arrested after someone attempted to break into Prince Georges school on Wednesday, said Scotland Yard.

The young Royal was in class at Thomass Battersea School when police were called, following reports that an unknown individual had gained access to the school premises.

The woman, who has not been identified, is currently being held in a London police station and was arrested for attempted burglary. Multiple sources are reporting that she is in her 40s.

We are working with the school, which is attended by His Royal Highness Prince George, to review its security arrangements after the incident, said a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police.
